Merchandise Planner - Accent Brands

Job Summary
Develop and maintain merchandise plans by category, style, and department to align with sales targets and business objectives; analyze historical sales data and seasonality to forecast demand and determine replenishment strategies; collaborate with buyers to select assortments to maximize sales; monitor inventory levels across channels to minimize stockouts; work with supply chain to optimize stock flow and lead times; coordinate with warehouses and logistics for delivery schedules; regularly review performance against targets and provide reporting on product performance, markdowns, stock turn, and other metrics; engage cross-functionally with buying, marketing, and merchandising teams to align strategies and ensure timely product execution; manage budgets and collaborate with finance on pricing strategies. Ideally 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, strong analytical and communication skills, advanced Excel, and experience with planning software.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required)
- Experience with merchandise planning software (e.g., FSR, SAP, JDA, or similar tools)
