Job Summary
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and stocking to ensure items are quickly placed on the sales floor; manage store displays and signage per corporate guidelines; handle opening/closing duties including cash security and alarms; act as Manager on Duty and oversee daily store operations, staff performance, and customer service; support onboarding and training of associates; drive sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and promotions; ensure inventory integrity and adherence to company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- College experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Experience overseeing store operations (receiving, stock, displays)
- Experience supervising and training associates
- Ability to manage opening/closing procedures
- Cash handling competence
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts if required)
- Ability to use signage and merchandising standards
- Knowledge of corporate inventories and promotions
- Ability to operate ladders and move merchandise up to 25 lbs
