Merchandise Manager

Merchandise Manager at Five Below oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock; manages the setup and maintenance of store displays and signage per corporate guidelines; handles opening/closing duties, cash handling, and store security; serves as Manager on Duty to supervise store operations, staff, and customer service; supports onboarding and training of associates; drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance; ensures compliance with Inventory Integrity processes; requires High School Graduate or equivalent, with college experience preferred and at least 2 years of management experience, plus strong verbal/written communication, multitasking, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. The role involves frequent physical activity including moving merchandise up to 25 lbs, climbing ladders, and working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
