Job Summary
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure efficient placement on the sales floor. Manage display setup and maintenance for specific store sections, ensuring signage accuracy and proper promotion highlighting per corporate guidelines. Control store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, including cash security, door locking, and alarm setup. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution. Drive sales growth by optimizing merchandising and staff performance while executing market plans and maintaining inventory integrity. Support associate onboarding and training to ensure compliance with store policies and product knowledge. Frequently operate cash registers, move merchandise up to 25 lbs, and adjust displays at various heights. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
