Job Summary
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure efficient placement on the sales floor. Manage display setup and maintenance for specific sections, ensuring signage accuracy and adherence to corporate reset guidelines. Execute store opening and closing procedures, including cash security, door locking, and alarm setting. Act as Manager on Duty to handle staff management, customer service, urgent issues, and associate onboarding. Drive sales by optimizing merchandising and executing market plans while controlling expenses and maintaining inventory integrity. Frequently operate cash registers, move merchandise up to 25 lbs, and work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
