Job Summary
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure efficient placement on the sales floor. Manage display setup and maintenance for specific store sections, ensuring signage accuracy and proper promotion highlighting. Execute the full store opening and closing process, including cash security, door locking, and alarm setting. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling staff management, customer service, and urgent operational issues. Drive sales growth by optimizing merchandising and staff performance while controlling expenses. Support associate onboarding and training regarding store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Maintain inventory integrity and execute corporate reset guidelines for seasonal updates.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
