Job Summary
Merchandise Intern in the Chicago Loop area focused on translating lifestyle and design trends into merchandising initiatives. Responsibilities include developing CAD drawings for new style and color presentations, assisting in merchandising presentations to accounts, analyzing retailer landscape and consumer information to support merchandising initiatives, preparing color/print/trend boards, developing and presenting a Hasana, Inc. merchandising plan, and participating in the merchandising development process from concept. The role requires being a full or part-time student working toward a degree, eligible for school credit, and committing to 2-3 days per week for 3 months; the internship is unpaid and located in the Chicago Loop.
Required Qualifications

- Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
- Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other groups as necessary both internally and externally
- Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
- Strong computer skills, PC/Mac with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator and other applicable software
- Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
