Job Summary
Set up, operate, and breakdown merchandise stands during home games and special events while developing skills in both in-arena and retail store settings. Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, and provide customer service during regular hours. Process inventory shipments including counting merchandise, tagging products, and delivering items to sales locations. Support online store operations including order fulfillment and customer inquiries. Assist in researching new merchandise trends, providing input on product selection, and participating in scheduled team calls with management. Perform other duties as assigned. This internship offers hands-on experience in sports retail management, inventory tracking, and ecommerce within the Greensboro Gargoyles organization.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Retail, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience
