Job Summary
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent damage while handling specific customer orders for precise picking and shipment. Lead a team of four to six associates through daily pre-work meetings, evaluating performance on picking and put-away procedures, and providing constant coaching on quality, safety, and productivity. Manage physical inventories, stock rotation, and equipment status, including operating forklifts and resolving conflicts or team member requests. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and ensure all safety protocols and training are followed. This role supports the Warehouse Operations Manager in driving efficient product flow and superior customer service within the distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- Two to five years of recent work experience
- Excellent communications skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be a self-starter
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be highly organized
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to participate in all Safety related training and acquire certifications
- Ability to bring Safety concerns to the attention of management immediately
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA and/or Class II, Class IV or Class V Forklift Certification
