Job Summary
Handle full cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds, lifting cartons and merchandise onto and off conveyor lines, pallets, or storage containers. Operate Warehouse Management System, Radio Frequency scanners, and motorized or non-motorized equipment to move merchandise while maintaining case quantities for picking operations. Use basic math skills to verify quantities, complete worksheets, and accurately fill order paperwork. Inspect items for quality and brand specifications, identify products, and match numbers. Maintain documentation to facilitate merchandise flow through the distribution center. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring steady attention to detail, problem-solving, and adherence to safety, hazardous material, and OSHA rules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and required overtime
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and assist in all areas, including but not limited to:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more up to 50% of the working hours
- Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a frequent basis
- Ability to use hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding on a continuous basis
- Ability to function in elevated locations as required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center environment useful
