Job Summary
Handle full cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds, lifting cartons and merchandise onto and off conveyor lines, pallets, or storage containers. Spend at least 50% of working hours lifting, while operating motorized and non-motorized equipment to move merchandise. Use the Warehouse Management System and RF scanners to verify quantities, complete worksheets, and accurately match product numbers. Maintain documentation to facilitate merchandise flow through the distribution center and inspect items for quality and brand specifications. Follow written and verbal directions to maintain case quantities for picking operations and help palletize outbound products. Standing or walking for the duration of the shift is necessary; flexibility regarding job assignments and overtime is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and required overtime
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and assist in all areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more up to 50% of the working hours
- Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a frequent basis
- Ability to use hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding on a continuous basis
- Ability to function in elevated locations as required
- Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center environment useful
