Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize merchandise flow onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, ensuring all merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded. Uphold merchandising philosophy, signage standards, and organizational cleanliness for the backroom area. Support shrink reduction goals, promote safety awareness, and communicate priorities with management and Associates. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
