Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and ensure an excellent external experience. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Organize back stock for easy replenishment, ensure proper tagging and coding, and maintain compliance with safety, recycling, and hazardous waste programs. Communicate priorities with management and provide progress updates while supporting shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
