Job Summary
Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor while ensuring receiving and merchandising standards are met. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and aligned with merchandising philosophy and signage standards. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure tasks are completed according to the store plan. Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, maintain recovery standards for the backroom, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Communicate effectively with management and on-duty Coordinators to address priorities and provide progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
