Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize merchandise onto the sales floor. Ensure associates process efficiently by training on established principles, monitoring team productivity, and coaching as necessary. Maintain a clean, organized store and backroom by organizing back stock rotation, adhering to signage standards, and enforcing recycling and hazardous waste programs. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience and support store shrink reduction goals while ensuring compliance with labor laws. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects with attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
