Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Ensure associates complete tasks according to the store plan by monitoring productivity, coaching as necessary, and rotating back stock for easy replenishment. Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area while engaging with all customers to ensure an excellent experience. Train and mentor associates on established principles, communicate priorities with management, and support shrink reduction and safety goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends; starting pay is $14.00 to $14.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
