Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck delivery and prioritizing merchandise onto the sales floor. Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging with all shoppers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary. Organize back stock rotation, uphold signage standards, and ensure compliance with safety, recycling, and labor laws. Communicate priorities with management and provide progress updates to maintain efficient store operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
