Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck delivery and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and recycling programs. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Properly tag, hang, secure, and code merchandise while rotating back stock for easy replenishment. Communicate effectively with management and on-duty coordinators to address priorities and provide progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
