Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and ensure efficient task completion according to the store plan. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to support shrink reduction goals and safety awareness. Rotate back stock for easy replenishment and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards across the backroom area. Ensure compliance with labor laws, recycling programs, and hazardous waste protocols while providing and accepting constructive feedback. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, capable of lifting heavy objects and responding to unexpected situations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
