Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensure store cleanliness, and properly tag, hang, and secure all goods. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Organize back stock rotation, uphold signage standards, and ensure compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and recycling programs. Communicate priorities with management and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient goods flow.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
