Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing and an excellent customer experience. Orchestrate truck deliveries, prioritize merchandise placement on the sales floor, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles while monitoring team productivity and coaching as necessary. Maintain organizational cleanliness, enforce signage standards, and ensure compliance with safety, recycling, and labor laws. Communicate priorities with management and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain efficient goods flow.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
