Job Summary
Conduct receiving and merchandising operations by orchestrating truck deliveries, prioritizing merchandise processing, and ensuring items are properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans and labor policies. Manage backstock rotation, maintain organizational cleanliness, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Communicate effectively with management and Associates to address priorities and provide progress updates while supporting shrink reduction goals and safety awareness.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
