Job Summary
Merchandise Coordinator at TJX: responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. Maintains an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and keeping the store organized; trains Associates on merchandising and processing principles; manages truck deliveries and coordinates flow of goods to the sales floor; ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded; communicates with management to prioritize tasks; monitors productivity and coaches as needed; organizes back stock for replenishment; upholds signage standards and safety/compliance; supports store shrink reduction goals and participates in training needs with management; meets requirements for flexibility with schedule and lifting heavy objects; adheres to all applicable labor laws and company policies; benefits and company culture highlighted; location listed as Lexington, KY USA; starting pay as listed is $14.00-$14.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to train others
- Proven ability to maintain merchandising standards and processes
- Experience with receiving, tagging, hanging, and stocking merchandise
- Strong collaboration with management and associates to ensure priority tasks are completed
- Familiarity with labor laws, safety, and store policies
