Job Summary
Merchandise Coordinator responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, training and mentoring Associates on merchandising principles, maintaining backroom organization, and supporting store leadership to provide an excellent customer experience. The role involves organizing and rotating back stock, ensuring items are properly tagged and displayed, coordinating with management to meet priorities, promoting safety and compliance with policies, and contributing to shrink-reduction and loyalty programs while upholding the company’s standards across the store.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
