Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans. Maintain a clean, organized backroom, manage back stock rotation, and enforce merchandising philosophy and signage standards. Engage with all customers to ensure an excellent experience, promote safety awareness, and support shrink reduction goals while maintaining compliance with labor laws and hazardous waste programs. Requires one year retail and six months leadership experience; starting pay $14.00 to $14.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
