Merchandise Associate

Greeting customers and delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, handling purchases and returns, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. Role models customer experience practices with internal and external customers; promotes credit and loyalty programs; follows established merchandising procedures and standards; participates in store recovery and safety initiatives; upholds labor laws and store policies; contributes to shrink reduction goals; engages in feedback and recognition processes. Responsibilities include accurately ringing customer purchases/returns, counting change, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and supporting loss-prevention standards while adapting to changes in direction or unexpected situations; collaborates with peers and supervisors to ensure excellent service and store operations.
