Job Summary
As a Merchandise Associate at the NCAA Hall of Champions, you will assist guests to ensure a legendary experience while maximizing sales in retail kiosks. Duties include handling retail transactions, maintaining cleanliness of merchandise displays, restocking inventory, conducting inventory control, and capturing sales records. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, self-motivation, verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Retail experience is preferred but not required. The position involves working 15-20 hours per week, offering a starting pay of $14 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be a team player
- Self-motivated to stay busy during slow periods
- Ability to understand and follow NCAA and Legends Global Merchandise policies, procedures and work processes
- Knowledge of products and quality focus
Desired Qualifications
- Retail experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, staff, and NCAA contacts
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations
