Merchandise Allocator

Job Summary
Allocate merchandise to stores from distribution centers to meet retail demand, ensuring inventory levels support new store openings and ad periods. Collaborate with buyers and distribution centers to manage incoming/outgoing merchandise, develop allocation strategies by category, and resolve receiving issues. Build relationships with Buyers, Stores, and DCs; apply product knowledge to allocations; operate in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Requires Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 1+ years of retail merchandising or distribution experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools like JDA/ARTHUR; strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of retail experience in merchandising or distribution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and internet application, such as JDA and ARTHUR
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships with others
- Ability to adapt well to change in a fast-paced work environment
