Job Summary
Maintain all mobile equipment on the property, prioritizing work based on plant needs and operations. Keep repair records filed in Manager Plus and ensure spare parts are stocked. Identify repeat equipment problems and report them to Joey Boyett while collaborating with external repair services. Work with minimal supervision, utilizing equipment manuals and communicating effectively across all organizational levels. Be available for after-hour calls and handle essential tasks as assigned, including overtime. Maintain safety leadership, good housekeeping, and adhere to employee handbook policies. Physically capable of bending, sitting, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available for after hour calls as needed
- Must be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Must have the ability to communicate with repair services and resort to equipment manuals for instruction
- Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Must be able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Must maintain good housekeeping
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to bend, sit, reach, stand, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs without any difficulties
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, (hot, cold, wet, and dry)
- Adhere to policies within the employee handbook
- Hydraulic equipment controls
- Electrical & sensor related items associated with equipment
- Good understanding of gas, diesel, propane and battery types of industrial equipment
