Job Summary
Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals for MEPF areas, ensuring subcontract work meets required specifications. Monitor overall project progress, review construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals for conformance, and conduct inspections to verify quality, safety, and commissioning. Act as a liaison between trades to resolve issues, manage scheduling for long-lead equipment, and assist with cost reviews for RFIs and change orders. Walk the job site actively to maintain safety, participate in pre-installation meetings, and support field leadership in mitigating risks and building quality. Review TAB reports, coordinate with the commissioning team for system verification, and ensure fire alarm matrices and testing are completed accurately. Maintain operational data, produce reports, and update the Procore QAP as scopes evolve. Stay abreast of industry standards and regulatory trends to adjust company procedures and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Mgmt, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry working with commercial and/or industrial projects
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects and in-depth knowledge of building codes
- Knowledge of construction documents and processes and a wide range of construction materials, methods, techniques and concepts
- Knowledge of industry and manufacturer's standards and installation requirements
- Advanced knowledge of principles and best practices of building envelope systems
- Proficient in MS Office
- Valid Driver's License Required
