Job Summary
Lead Facility Systems competency areas including architecture and building MEP engineering by establishing technical standards, workflows, and best practices. Support complex problem solving, lead reviews of high-risk projects, and champion cross-competency coordination and innovation initiatives. Mentor technical professionals, develop career paths, and coordinate training needs while managing succession planning. Provide technical leadership for 50% of time on funded client projects and 50% on general team leadership, serving as the primary liaison for subcontractors and flexible partners. Offer technical input for proposals, assist in recruiting talent, and monitor workload trends. Requires a PE license, experience in food & beverage manufacturing, and ~25% travel to the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience in food & beverage manufacturing environments and capital projects
- Experience leading technical teams and multidisciplinary project teams in a discipline, practice, engineering management, technical lead, or similar role
- Demonstrated proficiency with engineering design, project delivery, and quality management
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct reporting authority
- Ability to travel ~25% for project-related client site visits and/or internal meetings
- Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and/or Engineering-Led Design-Build project delivery approaches
- Experience supporting business development and strategic initiatives
- Experience implementing digital engineering tools, standards, and workflows
