Job Summary
Lead on-site management of MEP systems for the Hard Rock Casino Tejon project. Responsible for coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, guiding MEP subcontractors on installation methods and quality control, and ensuring compliance with design documents and building codes. Develop and maintain MEP schedules, track costs, conduct regular meetings with subcontractors, provide technical guidance, coordinate with the VDC team for integrated systems, manage subcontractor performance, and prepare daily project reports. Participate in safety activities and pre-installation/de-scope meetings, with frequent communication to the Project Manager, architects, and stakeholders. Must have strong drawing-reading skills, scheduling ability, and a proven track record in MEP-related site management in a construction environment. Located on-site in Mettler, CA, with flexibility to travel or relocate for the project.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Construction Superintendent role or equivalent field management experience (General Foreman/field management)
- Minimum 3 years of experience focused in MEP scopes
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Fluency in reading, quantifying, and analyzing construction drawings
- Competent understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing
- Strong verbal and written communication, and strong organizational and time management
- Flexibility to travel or relocate for the project as needed
- Ability to work on-site at Tejon Hard Rock Casino jobsite in Mettler, CA
