Job Summary
MEP Superintendent leads field operations for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems on a large-scale arena construction project in Reno. Oversees installation, coordination, and execution of all MEP systems, ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence, collaborates with PMs, design teams, and ownership representatives, participates in pull planning and look-ahead scheduling, manages subcontractor coordination and manpower, reviews drawings and specifications, resolves field conflicts, and supports commissioning, turnover activities, and owner training.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of MEP Superintendent, MEP Field Manager, or Senior MEP Foreman experience within commercial construction
- Experience managing MEP systems on large-scale commercial projects
- Arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, airport, healthcare, or entertainment venue experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls, and building automation systems
- Experience coordinating multiple trades in highly complex environments
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
