Job Summary
The MEP Superintendent at DPR Construction will lead the scheduling and field coordination for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, low voltage systems, and fire sprinkler scopes of commercial projects. Responsibilities include managing system installations, overseeing construction support for MEP systems, developing commissioning plans, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety programs. A successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, experience in conducting complex meetings, proficiency in technical construction software, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams while promoting safety.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction experience
- 5+ years of experience as a MEP Superintendent, preferably within DPR’s core markets
Desired Qualifications
- Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction concepts and applicable codes
- Proficient in the use of current virtual design and construction software
- Experience with CPM scheduling and the lean pull planning processes
- Knowledge in the use of Primavera P6
- Excellent listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills
