Job Summary
Senior on-site MEP lead for a General Contractor expanding into critical facilities; responsible for supervising electrical, mechanical, and controls subcontractors, coordinating with the project manager to meet schedule and budget, mentoring field team, ensuring safety and quality, managing commissioning and start-up activities, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining client/vendor communications to deliver data center projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of data center / critical facilities MEP construction experience
- Experience working for a General Contractor or Trade
- Detailed understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems to include integrated testing, MOPs/ SOPs of installation, functionality and troubleshooting
- Experience in directing and/or supporting the commissioning effort
- Willingness to travel / relo - must be onsite M-F for duration of the project
- Demonstrates solid presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
- Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Timberline, etc.)
- Previous administrative experience managing change orders, billing, creating reports, etc.
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus!
