Job Summary
MEP Superintendent for Data Center with a leading general contractor. Responsible for field activities and supervision of electrical, mechanical, and controls trades on data center projects; manages budgets with the project manager, mentors field staff, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Lead coordination with client, A/E, Owner's Rep, and subcontractors; oversee commissioning and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems; drive progress meetings, risk management, and project closeout. Travel to multiple project sites; strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills required.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of data center / critical facilities MEP construction experience
- Experience working for a General Contractor or Trade
- Detailed understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems to include integrated testing, MOPs/SOPs of installation, functionality and troubleshooting
- Experience in directing and/or supporting the commissioning effort
- Demonstrates solid presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
- Proficiency with PC and company tools (e.g., email, internet, Microsoft Office)
- Willingness to travel a must if not local to project
- Administrative experience in managing change orders, billing, creating reports
- Military / Military Veterans experience a huge plus
