Job Summary
Lead coordination of MEP trades, ensuring proper sequencing, constructability, conflict resolution, and successful system installation, testing, and commissioning. Partner with project teams, designers, and trade contractors to proactively identify and resolve MEP coordination issues using BIM and other coordination tools when applicable. Create project-specific safety programs highlighting key hazards and develop leadership approaches for addressing site risks. Arrange and coordinate timely permitting and required inspections to start and complete work. Review conceptual, schematic, and design development documents for constructability, phasing options, temporary protection requirements, and site logistics. Recommend or evaluate construction options and efficiencies based on these reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent
- Demonstrated experience coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on commercial construction projects, including managing trade sequencing, system interfaces, and installation activities
- Successful completion of training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Leadership
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- This position requires successful completion of pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug and background screening
