Job Summary
Assess sub-contractors' capabilities to meet project quality requirements and conduct periodic Quality Program training for site supervisory personnel. Perform all MEP inspection and testing activities, including design reviews for Design-Build projects, while managing the entire submittal process and ensuring contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to. Control calibrated measuring and test equipment, maintain current calibration records, and ensure proper turnover of complete quality control packages. Maintain project quality records, audit plans, and performance data throughout the construction phase. Work within BLHI company policy, Safety Manual, and OSHA rules. Requires five years of experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects with a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of formal training and experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects
- comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems as it pertains to installation, coordination, operation, and start-up and commissioning
- Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees
- inspection licenses and/or certifications as required
