Job Summary
MEP Project Manager leading all MEP scopes for a large-scale arena construction project in Reno, NV. Responsible for coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and specialty systems; managing MEP subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders; driving BIM coordination and clash resolution; reviewing drawings/submittals/RFIs/commissioning requirements; monitoring procurement schedules; collaborating with Project Executives, Superintendents, design teams, and ownership groups; managing budgets, forecasts, change orders, and project financial performance; supporting commissioning, startup, testing, and owner turnover activities; ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and high-quality results. Preferred background includes 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, experience on arena/stadium/entertainment projects, projects valued at $100M+, strong knowledge of HVAC/electrical/plumbing/fire protection/building automation, GC experience, and a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of MEP Project Management experience within commercial construction
- Experience on arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, entertainment venue, healthcare, airport, or similarly complex projects
- Experience managing MEP scopes on projects valued at $100M+
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
- Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proven ability to manage large teams, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
