Job Summary
Orchestrate assigned projects by planning workflow, scheduling direct reports, and administering field activities in accordance with corporate policies. Ensure the Project Superintendent enforces all procedures while coordinating with the Estimating Department for timely purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Administer the project schedule, document delays, and create recovery plans to maintain progress. Enforce subcontract and prime contracts, manage claims, and prepare monthly owner applications for payment to ensure accurate cash flow. Review subcontractor payments against lien information and percent complete, and execute all contract document revisions for owner billings. Resolve issues with subcontractors, government officials, and stakeholders to facilitate communication and problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- minimum of 8-10 years commercial construction experience
- acceptable combination of education and experience in commercial construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of legal issues
- Thorough knowledge of safety standards
- Ability to plan and organize a team effort
- Good client management
