Job Summary
MEP Project Manager II leading on national mission-critical data-center projects. Responsible for administration of project management tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection trades to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Core duties include preconstruction activities (bid procedures, bid reviews, utility coordination, vendor and subcontractor qualifications, estimating, scheduling), managing owner project agreements, maintaining clear internal/external communications, coordinating MEP scopes with subcontractors, guiding budgeting and cost controls, change management, BIM/3-D coordination, RFI/submittal forecasting, and commissioning processes including factory witness testing and onsite inspections. Experience with Procore, P6, and data center MEP systems is preferred; travel as needed. Requires ability to mentor team members, lead quality and safety plans, manage project closeout documentation, and build strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or construction science (or equivalent work experience) is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in construction project management with focus on MEP systems.
