Job Summary
MEP Project Manager for a Data Center leads the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination on a Canton, MS construction site. Responsible for administering the site safety program, ensuring subs and vendors have materials and equipment, overseeing QA/QC, producing daily progress reports, conducting site walk-throughs, resolving field/design issues, leading coordination meetings, representing the site in owner meetings, developing and maintaining the site logistics plan, defining scopes of work for subcontractors, performing constructability reviews, arranging preconstruction meetings, tracking progress against the plan, and guiding the project close-out and permit processes. Requires strong construction management experience, knowledge of Primavera/MS Project, safety planning, and QA/QC practices, with an undergraduate degree or higher preferred; PMP is preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, coordination across trades, compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivery of the project on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum of five years construction management experience
- Experience with large/complex safety plan implementation
- Ability to manage project teams and coordinate with owners and subcontractors
- Proficiency with Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience with Primavera, MS Project, and advanced scheduling tools
- Strong leadership and coordination across trades
- Ability to manage large-scale safety plans and QA/QC programs
- Proven track record in on-time, on-budget project delivery
