Job Summary
Oversee comprehensive direction, completion, and financial success of MEP projects while managing relationships with owners and subcontractors. Interpret construction plans and technical specifications to identify coordination issues, collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and delivery methods, and provide oversight of prime contracts and vendor agreements. Lead small to mid-sized teams, forecast costs, and manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, and budgets through project management software. Develop bid packages, act as the primary client contact for progress reporting, and mitigate risks related to system outages or shutdowns. Create phased implementation plans to minimize disruptions in active facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management
- 5–7 years of relevant construction industry experience with direct responsibility for MEP systems
- Preferably experienced in healthcare, institutional, or infrastructure projects with active building conditions and system upgrades
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with MEP coordination software (Navisworks or Revit) is a plus
