Job Summary
This Full-Time Mechanical Engineer position involves performing and reviewing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and Fire Life Safety (FLS) system assessments. Key responsibilities include conducting site visits, assessing the condition of MEP systems, preparing assessment reports, and providing technical guidance to project managers. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience are required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to interface directly with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar
- 5+ years commercial/industrial engineering consulting or design experience
- Solid understanding of all major MEP and FLS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
- Ability to effectively present information
Desired Qualifications
- P.E. in mechanical engineering preferred
- CEM, CEA, CBCP, or CMVP preferred
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
