Job Summary
Lead the installation and coordination of MEP systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, sheet metal, insulation, sprinkler, and life safety) on Austin Commercial projects in Orlando. Responsible for constructability studies, space management, certificate of occupancy management, and ensuring compliance with local codes. Act as a technical resource in meetings with owners and architects, coordinate shop drawings, manage subcontractor submittals, QA/QC of mechanical and electrical work, and ensure on-time delivery of equipment. Oversee coordination between subcontractors, utilize CAD/overlay systems, and supervise inspections with city inspectors. Requires a BS in a related field, 5-8 years of MEP experience with GC/mechanical contractor, OSHA 30-Hour training, and strong project-management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field
- 5-8 years of comparable MEP experience with a GC or mechanical contractor
- Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year)
- Proficient in project manager software
- Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports
- Ability to build and manage high performing team
