Job Summary
Assist in the overall direction and control of the installation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, insulation, sprinkler, and life safety systems within Austin Commercial projects. Responsibilities include ensuring the constructability of design, compliance with building codes, evaluating mechanical/electrical design complexity, coordinating MEP scope, managing relationships with city inspectors, reviewing subcontractor submittals, and conducting inspections. Requires technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems and strong project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field
- 5-8 years of comparable MEP experience
- Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training
- Proficient in project manager software
- Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports
- Ability to build and manage high performing team
