Job Summary
Join Samet as an Estimator / Preconstruction Project Manager, where you will prepare detailed cost estimates and quantitative surveys for mechanical and electrical systems in institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include assisting with civil and architectural preconstruction services, developing the CPM project schedule, conducting field inspections, and writing project scopes. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, 3-5 years of estimating experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Preferred skills include knowledge of Sage Estimating Software and LEED accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- A BS degree in a construction related field (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.)
- 3-5 years of Estimating in a construction environment
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software including MS Word, MS Excel
- Must have valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- A working knowledge of Sage Estimating Software
- Previous experience in estimating/project management
- Experience in preparing detailed energy modeling studies
- LEED Accredited Professional
- Primavera software scheduling experience
