MEP Engineer

Job Summary
Provide technical support and guidance to in-house design, QS teams, third-party consultants, and contractors throughout the design process. Review and evaluate Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing designs to ensure compliance with project requirements while collaborating with architects and engineers to optimize system integration. Timely resolve technical issues and challenges during the design phase, staying updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations. Manage, control, and track changes and variations in accordance with corporate routine. This fully onsite role requires relocation to a local village within the Santa Teresa region and reports directly to the MEP Manager and Head of Construction.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a concentration in HVAC or mechanical systems
- 7 to 15 years of experience in design consultancy or general contractor
- Experience working on low-rise residential and hospitality projects - private homes and villas, hotels and resorts
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Professional level of English, both written and verbal
- Full-time, on-site role in Cape Town, South Africa
