Job Summary
Assistant Cost Manager for Data Centre Projects supports cost management across fast-paced data centre environments under supervision of a Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager. Responsibilities include cost planning, tender support, contract administration, tracking costs, preparing monthly cost reports, value engineering discussions, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2-5 years of cost management/quantity surveying experience are required; exposure to MEP-intensive or data centre projects is preferred. Proficiency with CostX or willingness to learn, strong communication and teamwork skills, and English proficiency are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, construction, or related fields
- Exposure to MEP-intensive, industrial, or data centre projects is preferred but not mandatory
- Good understanding of basic cost management concepts (estimating, tendering, cost plans, reporting)
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to support multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in cost software such as CostX or willingness to learn
- Business‐level English and native proficiency in the local language
