Job Summary
MEP Consultant role focusing on HVAC and plumbing design for major projects at a California location. Design and analyze HVAC/building systems, develop system options, and prepare construction documents for plumbing (waste/vent, water, gas piping). Support construction administration, perform life cycle cost analyses, and conduct field surveys. Requires PE license, deep HVAC/plumbing expertise, forensic/construction defect analysis experience, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- PE license
- In-depth knowledge and experience in HVAC and plumbing details preparation
- Experience with forensic and construction defect analysis
- Willingness to travel
- Designing and analyzing HVAC systems and building systems
- Developing and conceptualizing HVAC system options and performing existing system analysis
- Designing and producing construction documents for plumbing systems, including waste/vent, water, and gas piping
- Supporting the construction administration phase of the project and preparing engineering reports
- Performing life cycle cost analysis and field surveys for the design of HVAC systems
